Aztec Solar Energy was approached by our client, a huge commercial printing business, located in Rotherham to design and install a 935.45 kWp solar PV installation across their two onsite units. The objective was to maximise the solar generation by utilising as much roof space as possible in order to significantly decrease their carbon footprint.
Our client had a keen interest in increasing their sustainability program and reducing their carbon footprint. Like many businesses, the most cost-effective way to do this is through a solar PV system. With such a large roof space across both Units A and B, we looked to maximise the solar PV system and provide our client with as much energy self-sufficiency as possible.
We installed 1,765 Longi 530W mono panels, offering over 22% efficiency in addition to a 25-year product and output warranty.
Opting for Solis inverters, we installed 6 100kW and 2 60kW inverters on an S:Flex mounting system. Solis inverters are a strong choice for many businesses investing in solar PV systems due to their high efficiency and reliability.
The system is expected to produce 848,595 kWh of energy per annum, saving an estimated 400,000 kg of CO2 emissions every year.
