Aztec Solar Energy was approached to collaborate with a valued, long-standing client to design and install five solar PV systems for a local industrial estate based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. We designed a bespoke PV system tailoring to the needs of each of the individual units, totalling a system size of 871.33 kWp across all five. The goal was to maximise the solar generation by utilising unused roof space across five commercial units.
The business park wanted to utilise solar PV to decrease their energy costs and carbon footprint, and often the most cost-effective way to do this is through a solar PV system.
The business park had tenants in each of their units, so minimising interruptions to their day-to-day business operations was imperative. Our team worked swiftly and safely to deliver the five solar PV installations with minimal disruption to the businesses.
Our client was looking to maximise their return of investment and install the most suitable system for each of the five units. We installed a total of 1,915 Longi 455W modules, offering over 22% efficiency in addition to a 25-year product and output warranty.
Opting for Solis inverters, we installed 10 in total (2 x 110kW, 3 x 100kW, 1 x 50kW, 2 x 40kW, 1 x 30kW and 1 x 20kW). Solis inverters are a strong choice for many businesses investing in solar PV systems due to their high efficiency and reliability.
The system is expected to produce 813,985 kWh of energy per annum across the five business units.
